AI Gym: exercise with your camera, on your device
Pose tracking in the browser, honest rep counting, and nothing stored but a summary.
AI Gym is a tab inside Wellness. It uses your camera to follow your movement and count reps, with short spoken cues.
- The camera opens only after you agree, and only when you press start.
- A pose model runs in your browser and follows 33 points of your body. No frame is sent anywhere.
- A squat counts only when your knee goes below 110 degrees and comes back above 165.
- Cues such as go deeper, chest up, knees aligned and slow down are spoken while you move; you can turn them off.
- If it cannot see you well enough, it stops counting and tells you, rather than guessing.
- Only the summary of a set is kept, on your device. Video, images and body coordinates are never stored.
Squats are available today; more exercises will follow on the same engine. AI Gym is on the web app, not the mobile app.
