SHADOW: model a decision before you make it

SHADOW is a decision simulation. You describe what you are considering and it shows what could happen to your cash, before you act.

Today it models six kinds of decision: hiring people, changing prices, losing a client, entering a market, freezing hiring and cutting spend.

• It reads your position from NEXUS: cash, monthly inflow and outflow, and your largest client's share of revenue, each stamped with its source and time.
• Anything it does not hold is marked unknown and it asks you for it, rather than assuming.
• The model is plain deterministic arithmetic: month by month cash, a low, base and high case, sensitivity, risks and a confidence level.
• The written summary is labelled as AI and checked number by number against the model. If it cites a figure the model did not produce, it is withheld.
• Scenarios are saved and can be re-run.

SHADOW needs a financial source in NEXUS to model your own position. Without one it can run on the built-in demo company, and it tells you when it is doing so.
